CALFED Bay-Delta Program Logo (214 K)
This stylized logo mark reflects the collaborative work between the State of California and the Federal government toward stabalizing, protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Bay-Delta Estuary. The logo mark itself depicts the meandering nature of the delta system, and has a wide range of application, including print, video, and exhibitry.
The CALFED Ops Group is charged with coordinating the operation of the State Water Project and the Central Valley Project with endangered species, Delta water quality, and other requirements. This logo features a water drop emanating from a triangle. The triangle is a traditional symbol representing the Greek word, delta, meaning change. The logo represents the ability of the group to coordinate changing needs in the Delta.
