Optimizing Your Experience
This site uses tables. For the full graphical experience, this site is optimized for Netscape Navigator. Visit Netscape to download a copy of the browser.
These pages are intended to be viewed with 12 point type. If you'd like to set your browser's preferences, select Options in the Netscape main menu bar. Selecting Preferences in the pull-down menu will bring up a dialog box. In the dialog box, select Fonts and Colors from the pop-up menu. Select 12 point type for both the Proportional and Fixed fonts and then click OK.
Sending E-mail
If you are using Netscape Navigator, you can send your comments or questions directly to any of the Graphic Services staff listed under E-mail/Phones.
Make sure your browser's preferences are set accordingly. Select Options in the Netscape main menu bar. Selecting Preferences in the pull-down menu will bring up a dialog box. In the dialog box, select Mail and News from the pop-up menu. In the new dialog box, fill out your Server, your Name, your E-mail address, and your Organization.
Viewing Movies
This site includes movies for your viewing pleasure. All movies are currently in QuickTime (.MOV) format. Video for Windows (.AVI) movies will be available in the future.
Macintosh:
If you don't have a QuickTime viewer, point your browser to http://www.apple.com/quicktime to download a current copy of QuickTime.
- Make sure your browser's preferences are set to use your newly downloaded QuickTime viewer as a helper application. Select Options in the Netscape main menu bar. Selecting Preferences in the pull-down menu will bring up a dialog box. In the dialog box, select Helper Applications from the pop-up menu. Fill out the Mime type as video, the Subtype as quicktime, the Extensions as qt, mov, and the Action as launch application.
- Windows:
- If you don't already have it, you'll need a current copy of Quicktime for Windows. Point your browser to http://www.apple.com/quicktime to download a current copy of QuickTime.
- To set your browser's preferences, follow the same instructions given for the Macintosh platform.
- UNIX:
- XAnim is a UNIX Quicktime viewer that's currently in Beta version. Also check out the XAnim Documentation file for more detailed information.
- Sound Playback
- Macintosh: Sound Machine. (83 Kb)
